Club Rides 2

Apparently everybody had some good holidays and are keen to train. The last two group rides have had 17 and 14 people out. This is great to see and let's keep it up till the racing starts. If there is this much interest we can perhaps keep the same meeting time and place through the race season as I'm sure we won't necessarily all be racing.

So, once again, the ride LEAVES from Our Town Cafe at 9:30. If you want coffee, muffins or Golbeck to fix your bike, please show up at 9. For the convenience of the majority, I'm gonna be a hard-ass about this...

As it's winter, our route is probably gonna be pretty much the same each week. So if you are late and wanna catch us your best bet is to hit the Ontario bike route between Broadway and 59th. We will head over to Richmond via the Arthur Laing bridge and do the Vets ride loop in reverse. Please don't call/text me after 9:30 as I am riding and won't answer.

The rides are fairly mellow right now. We will do some paceline work and at least one sprint out at Iona or on River Rd. Generally, you can be back in Vancouver by noon if you skip the last sprint. And this is why we leave on time - a lot of us have other commitments on Sundays. Hope to see you out.

Oh yeah, mini keg in my seat bag. Me and Hornland will be skipping the sprints to do riverside 5L keg stands. Ok?
